A kayaker enters Four Falls, a series of drops on the Bailey Section of the North Fork of the South Platte River.
Four Falls is a great introduction and way to get warmed up for the impending big stuff on the Bailey's Section of the North Fork of the South Platte River. This drop occurs directly after the first drop which is very ominous and usually portaged. Therefore, most people consider this drop the beginning of Four Falls. There is a railroad path on river right that makes it very easy to scout this whole section at once. You can scout it in pieces while portaging around the first fall or scout it after each drop. It's up to you.
