Rowing is one of the oldest sports in existence and has been a part of the Olympic games since 1900. Besides its age, rowing has another remarkable characteristic that distinguishes itself from other sports, activities, or fitness regimens. Rowing is one of the only forms of exercise that is a non-impact activity and still exercises all of the major muscle groups.
