The Canoe/Kayak C-2 event is one of the most difficult canoe/kayak events in the Olympics. In the C-2 Slalom competition, 2 competitors are in one canoe at the same time. This requires the canoeists to be in perfect balance and coordination with each other. It also requires a longer canoe which reduces the maneuverability of the pair through the course.
