Double Falls
The Bottom Moose River in Upstate, New York

From George Sayour, About.com

Double Falls appears deceivingly simple. Don't let it fool you though. There are places you can get pinned and some of the holes are worse than they look. Scout this rapid from river right. There are multiple lines through this rapid. The most common line is also the hero route and starts on the right side of the river. From river right, pass the rock on the shore and angle just left to go over the first drop just to the left of a giant boulder. This is an extremely powerful drop. The next drop has a few different lines which include a chute or some boof moves.

There is another route on river right that avoids most of the flow. As you pass the rock on the right bank go to the right and pass the next rock on the right hand side. Some boaters bypass the right side altogether and do a boof move on the left side of the river.

After going over both drops paddle across the pool to the road. Take out, cross the street and climb down the other side to put back in.
