The Canoe/Kayak K-4 Flatwater event features the most paddlers in one boat in the sport of Canoe/Kayak. As you can see, K-1, K-2, or K-4 competitors actually sit in the kayak unlike the canoeists who compete in the C-1 or C-2 events. Another marked difference between the canoe and kayak events is that the C-1 and C-2 paddlers use a single-bladed paddle while the K-1, K-2, and K4 paddlers use a double-bladed paddle.
