How to Go Paddling in Fort Myers

Winter is a time of year for skiing, staying indoors or going somewhere warm.  Fort Myers is no stranger to winter travelers for the last reason stated.  But, as paddlers often find, you can't always travel with your kayak and gear, especially down to Florida which isn't always a car drive away.   If you're in that category and would like to paddle or even if you are able to bring your gear but want a plan of how to get out into the Bay, here's an article on how to go paddling in Fort Myers, specifically in San Carlos Bay and the Bunche Beach Preserve.  Or, perhaps you'd like to take the drive over the bridge and paddle in Sanibel Island, there's plenty of options there for you also.
