Day 4 of the Olympics is over. Here's some results of interest to the paddling world.
U.S. Slalom Canoe/Kayak team member, Caroline Queen missed advancing to the qualifying rounds. Queen came in 17th in the heats for the women's K-1 event. Since the top 15 qualify for the semi-finals she will miss out on a chance at a medal. That's it for the U.S. Canoe/Kayak Slalom team. However, there's no shame for this young, up and coming paddler. There's no doubt in my mind that she'll be back!
For the paddlers out there, we still have the U.S Flatwater Canoe/Kayak team to look forward to in the second half of the London Games.
