With the Memorial Day weekend right around the corner, it's a good time to review the basics of water safety. It is estimated that more boats share the water on this one weekend in the U.S. than on any other time throughout the year.
So to kick this little segment on boating safety off we're going to talk about (you guessed it) PFDs. While old style life jackets might be cumbersome, the newer designs are much more ergonomic and unobtrusive. So, there is really no excuse not to wear them whenever paddling.
