Christmas Spirit Paddles

Alright, it's not December yet but I just had to mention this one now. This is such a great idea and could easily be replicated at various other places around the Southern parts of our country. Southeast Adventure Outfitters in Southeastern Georgia is hosting their annual Christmas Spirit Paddles on December 18,19,20. This 2 hour guided paddle in Brunswick, Georgia is free as long as you bring a food donation for the humane society.

Other kayak outfitters, in this year's tough economic climate, why not do something similar around the holidays in support of a cause to help others? It could be a great way to promote our sport while at the same time reaching out to the community around us.
